Best Exotic Vets in Manchester UK 2026: Reptile, Bird & Small Mammal Specialists

A checked exotic practice contact in Urmston

The Exotic Animal Vets describes itself as a specialist-led exotic practice. Its official website lists 28 Crofts Bank Road, Urmston, M41 0UH, telephone 0161 296 8092, and care for a range of exotic species.

Call before booking to confirm the right clinician, appointment availability and costs for your animal. A directory listing does not establish that a particular species can be treated at any time.

If your pet needs urgent care

Call your usual practice and follow its out-of-hours instructions. Confirm the destination, acceptance and species cover before travelling. The practice's digital advice service is not a walk-in emergency hospital.

Our emergency contact page distinguishes service types and access conditions. We do not currently list a verified local emergency contact for Manchester; your practice can direct you to its emergency provider.

Correction to previous clinic recommendations

The earlier version incorrectly recommended Manchester Veterinary Specialists as a local exotic emergency provider and described a Great Western Exotics North West mobile branch without reliable evidence. Those recommendations, their contact details and associated comparisons have been withdrawn. Do not rely on saved copies of that list.

The Manchester Veterinary Specialists website describes a canine and feline orthopaedic referral service. The former Great Western Exotics website now redirects to a different practice; it does not substantiate a Manchester mobile branch.
